Sixteen Design and Technology teachers from eight public secondary schools and one sixth form centre were feted for completing four sessions of professional development activities organised by D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd at its premises.
The event was collaborated by the Department of Schools at the Ministry of Education. The programme aimed at enhancing teachers’ knowledge and skills in using the latest software in the design industry, process and machinery commonly used in design and manufacturing industry.
Participants were exposed to SketchUp software and state-of-art machinery. Managing Director of D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd Jackson Ting presented plaques of participation to the teachers.
Meanwhile, Senior Education Officer from Department of Schools Andree Asmara bin Haji Abidin presented a certificate of appreciation and souvenir to Ting and facilitators of the programme.
A similar programme will be held in April for another batch of design and technology teachers from public secondary schools.
