A full-dress rehearsal for the 8th Politeknik Brunei convocation ceremony was held at the Plenary Hall of International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas yesterday.
Today’s convocation ceremony will witness more than 600 graduates receiving their Diploma Level 5 derived from various programmes including School of Business, School of Information and Communication Technology, School of Health Sciences and School of Science and Engineering and School of Petrochemical.
Minister of Education Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh will present certificates to the graduating students.
The ceremony will also witness the presentation of several awards including Academic Excellence Award, Excellence in Enrichment Activities Award, Innovation Award and Best Student Award. Fourteen students will also receive the Chinese Ambassador Award – an integrated programme between the Chinese Embassy in Brunei Darussalam and the Ministry of Education.
