Sixteen staff and officers of the Public Service Department (JPA) recently completed a three-day certification as fire marshals.
The course, conducted by the Fire and Rescue Department, also saw the participants in an evacuation exercise at the JPA building, where they evacuated some 260 personnel.
Participants learnt the causes of fire, appropriate action to take during an incident and systematic building evacuation.
Participants also learnt how to use a fire extinguisher and a fire blanket.
