Pre-dawn talk highlights value of setting daily intentions

Yesterday’s pre-dawn talk, held at the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque, dealt with the value of setting daily intentions in order to gain more productivity and flow in business.

Da’ie at the Islamic Da’wah Centre Dr Haji Ismuhadi bin Haji Abdullah said, “Finding higher productivity in business requires several things such as setting goals, seeking the blessings of Allah the Almighty and setting out with the honest intention to do trade for the advancement of religion, the people and the country.”

Present at the event were Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud; Minister at the Prime Minister Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah; Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar; Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Fiscal) Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman; Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Economy) Dato Seri Paduka Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin; Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof; Permanent Secretary (Investment) at the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE) Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid; and Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religious) at the MoRA Haji Mohd Seruddin bin Haji Timbang.

Jointly organised by the MoRA and MoFE, through the Royal Customs and Excise Department, this week’s ‘Masjidku Makmur, Negara Berkat’ programme was held with the support of the PMO, to attract more worshippers for the mass Subuh prayer at the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque.
