Pre-dawn talk focusses on Al-Quran as guidance

Al-Quran is a major source of reference covering all aspects of human life. Those who adhere will have the blessings and happiness in this world and the hereafter. Among the steps in expecting Syafaat (intercession) of Al-Quran in the hereafter are by practising the reading, listening, learning and teaching of Al-Quran and follow its teachings.

This was highlighted by Religious Officer at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Girls Arabic Religious Secondary School Pengiran Haji Mohd Norhadi bin Pengiran Haji Bongsu during the pre-dawn Tazkirah titled Mengharap Syafaat Al-Quran at the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque in Bandar Seri Begawan yesterday.

Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof, and Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religious) at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang attended.

The talk was part of the weekly Masjidku Makmur, Negara Berkat programme, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in collaboration with the Prime Minister’s Office. It aimed to invite more congregants, enliven activities at the mosque and perform mass Subuh prayer.
