The Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT) held a congregational Sunnat Hajat prayers, recitation of Surah Yaasiin, Tahlil, Doa Kesyukuran and Asar prayer at Ash-Shaliheen Mosque yesterday, in conjunction with Farmers, Livestock Breeders and Fishermen’s Day 2022.
The event is marked every November 1 in recognising the services of farmers, livestock breeders and fishermen for their role as food generators of the country.
Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin was the guest of honour.
Permanent secretary and deputy permanent secretaries, department heads, officers and staff of the MPRT attended the event alongside farmers, livestock breeders, fishermen and agri-food entrepreneurs.
