With the government pay day around the corner and a large number anticipating to go about their daily needs, Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar reminded the public to practise social or physical distancing at shops, markets and banks including when using ATM machines.

“Anyone feeling sick must avoid going to crowded places. Make use of online banking as much as possible,” the minister told a press conference yesterday.

He said supermarkets and convenience shops should limit the number of persons entering the premises while a sign on social distancing should be put up at queueing areas like the payment counters.

Temperature checks should be conducted and hand sanitiser should be available at the entrance of the premises while trolley and baskets should also be clean, the minister said.
