In some shopping areas, the road conditions can only be described as deplorable.
There are so many more potholes than smooth surfaces that only four-wheelers are able to traverse with no issues.
Take for example certain parts of Batu Bersurat.
The roads are so deteriorated that I have to slow down in order to avoid all the cracks and potholes that litter the area.
Then, there are those confusing one-way lanes with no signs to point cars in the right direction.
It is as though there is an unwritten rule for only frequent users, while the rest of us try in earnest to zigzag our way out of the place.
It makes me wonder who is responsible for fixing the roads and placing traffic signs in these areas. The government or owners of these properties?
