POSTGRADUATES enhanced their knowledge in nationalism and patriotism at Information Department’s Civic Village Programme for Post-Graduates on Tuesday.

Motivational lecture Ada Bagus Ah? held at the Multipurpose Room 2 of the Sungai Kebun Sports Complex delivered by a Training Officer at the Civil Service Institute (IPA) Haji Noor Husseini bin Haji Mohd Hussein was attended by 35 participants.

The contents of the motivational lecture included the importance of using the Malay Language as a government servant, various stages graduates may go through after graduating from university and other tips.

The event concluded with a ‘thought exchange’ group activity organised by the Nationhood Unit of the Information Department.

The Civic Village Programme for Postgraduates, which began in 1976, was re-introduced by the Information Department as an effort to prepare graduates to be more competitive and capable in facing challenges in future employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Running until tomorrow, the five-day programme has the postgraduates participating in teambuilding, sports and charity activities, and visiting government departments and private enterprises.
