Porsche Brunei officially unveiled the Cayenne Platinum Edition in the Sultanate at the Porsche Centre Brunei yesterday. The special edition of the SUV is characterised by exclusive coordinated design elements in a satin platinum paint finish, and extra standard equipment.

“The Cayenne Platinum Edition provides Porsche SUV customers with an extremely appealing new option by adding a unique trim and with a range of extended equipment as standard,” said Porsche Brunei General Manager Lahiru De Silva.

Combining elegance with performance, the Cayenne Platinum Edition comes in several variants – the Cayenne, Cayenne E-Hybrid and Cayenne S, along with their respective Coupé derivatives.

The refined and exclusive appearance of the Cayenne Platinum Edition is characterised by numerous model-specific details in satin-finish Platinum. The inlays in the slats of the air intakes at the front, the Porsche lettering integrated in the LED rear light strip, the model designation at the rear and the standard 21-inch RS Spyder design wheels, which are reserved exclusively for the Platinum Edition, are all painted in this colour.

Sport tailpipes and side window trims in black further emphasise the sporty, elegant look of the special series.

Matching solid colours in white and black, metallic paint finishes in jet black, carrara white, mahogany, moonlight blue and the special colour crayon are available.

In the stylishly designed interior, crayon seat belts and brushed aluminium door entry sills with the ‘Platinum Edition’ logo add a special touch, as do the textured aluminium interior package and silver-coloured trims.

The Cayenne Platinum Edition comes with extended equipment as standard. This includes LED headlights including Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), the panoramic roof system, privacy glass, a Bose ® surround-sound system, ambient lighting, eight-way leather sports seats, the Porsche crest on the front and rear headrests, and an analogue clock on the dashboard.

Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur also offers a wide range of refinement options for the interior and exterior – from selective changes to extensive modifications.

The Cayenne Platinum Edition models include NEDC with fuel consumption combined at 9.5 to 9.2 litres per 100 kilometres (l/km) and CO2 emissions combined at 217 to 210 grammes per kilometre (g/km); and WLTP with fuel consumption combined at 12.5 to 11.7 l/100km and CO2 emissions combined at 283 to 266 g/km.

The Cayenne S Platinum Edition models include NEDC with fuel consumption combined at 9.9 to 9.7 l/100km and CO2 emissions combined at 225 to 220 g/km; and WLTP with fuel consumption combined at 12.9 to 12.1 l/100km and CO2 emissions combined at 229 to 274 g/km.

While the Cayenne E-Hybrid Platinum Edition models include NEDC with fuel consumption combined at 2.6 to 2.4 l/100km, CO2 emissions combined at 60 to 56 g/km, and power consumption combined at 22.4 to 21.6 kWh/100 km; and WLTP with fuel consumption combined (weighted) at 3.7 to 3.3 l/100km, CO2 emissions combined (weighted) at 85 to 75 g/km, and power consumption combined (weighted) at 26.5 to 25.6 kWh/100km; along with an electric range (EAER) of 41 to 43 km and Electric range in town (EAER City) of 43 to 46 km.

Consumption and emission data are determined in accordance with the measurement procedure required by law. As all new cars offered by Porsche are type-approved in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test (WLTP), the NEDC values are therefore derived from the WLTP values.
