With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, 15 police officers were promoted during a ceremony yesterday.
The promotions came into force on Wednesday.
Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali and spouse attended the event at the Mess Banquet Hall of the RBPF Headquarters in Jalan Gadong.
One officer was promoted to Assistant Commissioner of Police; four officers were promoted to Senior Superintendent of Police; eight promoted to Superintendent of Police while two to Deputy Superintendent of Police.
Also present was Deputy Commissioner of Police Dato Seri Pahlawan Sulaiman bin Alidin and spouse.
