Police, N-Watch groups join forces in crime prevention patrol

THE Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) Central Police Station yesterday conducted a crime prevention patrol with Kampong Belimbing Neighbourhood Watch members.

The patrol involved three Focal Point members led by Assistant Office-in-Charge of the Central Police Station Assistant Superintendent Mohd Alif bin Musa, two patrol members from the BSB Central Police Station, and five Neighbourhood Watch members led by Kampong Belimbing Village Head Haji Gapor @ Mohd Daud bin Karim.

Earlier, Corporal 4604 Hasnan bin Ali delivered a briefing highlighting the crime statistics and role of the Neighbourhood Watch.

The patrol, spanning across the village starting from Simpang 527 to Simpang 674, aimed to ensure the village is free from criminal elements.

Meanwhile, in the Belait District, a crime prevention patrol was also carried out by the Kuala Belait Police Station with members of the Kampong Mumong Neighbourhood Watch, led by Corporal 3028 Mohd Jin bin Roseta along with members of the Kampong Mumong Neighbourhood Watch.

The patrol covered the Singa Menteri area to Kampong Mumong ‘B’.

No criminal activities were reported in the vicinity.
