Police meet with village heads from Tutong, Belait

THE Tutong Police District recently met with Kampong Penapar Village Head Haji Mahmud bin Haji Abdul Latif for discussions.

Corporal 4899 Noraziah and Corporal 5250 Md Fadilah discussed plans to carry out welfare activities (including a clean-up of Kampong Penapar Mosque) and shared information on criminal activities in the village.

In the Belait District, a Meeting and Neighbourhood Watch Approach was carried out by Kuala Belait Police Station’s ‘Focal Point’ personnel, who were led by Staff Sergeant 2528 Joefry.

Kampong Mumong Village Head Haji Mohd Yusof bin Dulamin was involved in the discussions, whose topics included crime prevention in Kampong Mumong, and enhanced patrols of the area by Neighbourhood Watch members.

Meanwhile, Kampong Pelambayan and Kampong Dato Gandi area recently conducted a crime prevention patrol in Mukim Kota Batu, which included five personnel from the Bandar Seri Begawan Central Police Station led by Sergeant Major 3096 Pengiran Noorhasni, along with five Neighbourhood Watch members led by Kampong Pelambayan Village Head Haji Hanipah bin Begawan Pehin Udana Khatib Haji Junit.

No suspicious activities were reported during the patrol of the area.
