The Police Cadet Team (PKP) recently organised the National Police Cadet Sports Championship 2022 at the Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium in Gadong.
The event involved 24 cadet teachers and 165 police cadets from various schools, institutions as well as colleges across the country led by Acting Commanding Officer of Royal Brunei Police Cadet Force Chief Inspector of Police Ibrahim bin Haji Saili.
Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali was the guest of honour.
Track and field events in the championship were divided into four groups – Rumah Digadong, Rumah Pemancha, Rumah Bendahara, and Rumah Temenggong.
Rumah Pemancha emerged as overall champions after amassing 14 medals, followed by Rumah Temenggong.
Rumah Bendahara and Rumah Digadong occupied third and fourth place.
The event continued with a tug-of-war won by cadet police teachers and guests team. It concluded with a prize presentation and mementos to winners and the involved teams.
Also present were RBPF Deputy Commissioner Dato Seri Pahlawan Sulaiman bin Alidin, General Administration and Finance Director Mohammad Zulhilmi bin Haji Omar Ali, and Acting Director of Co-curriculum Education Department at the Ministry of Education Mohd Norilham bin Haji Jais.
The event was chaired by Commander of Police Gadong Training Centre Senior Superintendent of Police Haji Mohd Noor bin Haji Abdul Rahman.
