Three local men, aged 36 to 42, were detained in connection with the smuggling activity on Thursday night.

The attempted smuggling was busted around 6.29pm during surveillance set up by Bangar Police Station.

The contraband was found inside a vehicle. The seized items and the three suspects were handed over to the Royal Customs and Excise Department (RCED) for further investigation.
