The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) organised a Tedarus Al-Quran ceremony in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan at the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, Pekan Tutong.
The State Mufti’s Office collaborated with the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque Takmir Committee for the event.
Deputy Minister (Civil Service Governance) at the PMO Dato Seri Paduka Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos, the delegation head, handed over waqaf in the form of a high pressure washer, a dry and wet vacuum cleaner, a 30-metre garden hose and 60 chairs to Imam Mohammad Waiz bin Tajuddin.
The ceremony followed with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Juzuk 1, led by the deputy minister before commencing with mass Asar prayers. – Rokiah Mahmud
