PMO holds Khatam ceremony for N-Day

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and its departments held a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony at Ash-Shaliheen Mosque, PMO Complex yesterday, in conjunction with the 37th National Day celebration.

The religious event was co-hosted by the Security, Enforcement and Law Division, the State Judiciary Department and the Information Department, attended by Minister at the PMO Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud as guest of honour. Judicial Commissioner of the Supreme of Supreme Court Haji Abdullah Soefri bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Orang Kaya Pendikar Alam Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Hasrin bin Dato Paduka Haji Sabtu, permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretaries, heads of departments; officers and personnel from the PMO also attended.

The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah-Surah Lazim from Al-Quran followed by Takhtim and Dikir Marhaban, which was led by officials and personnel from the PMO and concluded with the recitation of Doa Khatam and a mass Asar Prayer.
