Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, launched the first of its kind ‘Brunei Darussalam from the Eyes of Foreign Diplomats and their Families’ exhibition at the opening ceremony at the Royal Regalia Museum yesterday.
Organised by Diplomatic Corps, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD), the exhibition showcases 109 photographs of various themes selected from over 210 photos contributed by 19 foreign diplomatic missions in Brunei Darussalam.
The exhibition features photos of beautiful sceneries and special moments foreign diplomats enjoy in Brunei Darussalam and in appreciation of the development in bilateral relations between the Sultanate and the diplomatic missions in the country as well as gratitude to the government and people of Brunei Darussalam for the hospitality.
Her Royal Highness was welcomed by Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin with Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Brunei Darussalam Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashel Al-Maskari and exhibition organising committee members.
Her Royal Highness was accompanied by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar, Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara.
Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong and Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah were present.
