The Mosque Visit Programme for 1442H was held at the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the capital yesterday.
Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim was the guest of honour.
The programme organised by the Secretariat of the Youth Religious Programme from the MoRA in collaboration with the Muallaf As-Syahadah Youth was aimed at strengthening Dakwah and showcase Bruneian Islamic lifestyle to the non-Muslim community while also providing an opportunity to visit the mosque and observe religious practices by Muslims.
Several activities were held yesterday including classes on Jawi writing, storytelling, Islamic architecture, the Golden Age of Islam and stories from Al-Quran.
Muallaf As-Syahadah Youth members also shared stories about their conversion to Islam.
A Tausyeh performance and a Tai Chi session were also held.
The twice-a-year programme by Muallaf As-Syahadah Youth saw 100 guests.
