The Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) organised a refresher course on performing ablution and daily prayers for new Muslim converts, in conjunction with Israk Mikraj.
The programme aimed to instil a sense of responsibility to perform daily prayers among the converts.
The programme was conducted simultaneously in all four districts yesterday.
There were 43 participants in Brunei-Muara District at the PDI, 51 at the Kampong Bang Dalam Mosque in Tutong District, 34 at the Dakwah Unit’s Multipurpose Hall in Belait District and 36 at the Kampong Sibut Religious Hall in Temburong District.
The programme was hoped to help converts perform their religious obligations to gain blessings from Allah the Almighty, as well as prepare for the upcoming fasting month of Ramadhan.
