Pegasus ready for Speed Hunters

Bruneian professional basketball club Pegasus will tip off against Malaysian side Speed Hunters in the first game of the Malaysia D-League today in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Founder of Pegasus Sport Agency Samuel who have overseen his squad training for the past few days said, “We are looking forward to our first game in Malaysia and we will try our best to win and make it through to the semis.

“Speed Hunters is a long and well established semipro team in Malaysia. The team head coach is Goh Cheng Huat – a former Malaysian national team coach and KL Dragons coach.”

Samiel added, “A first game win will bring the team’s morale up and keep the momentum going for the rest of the matches.

“We are getting better and better each and every day even though there’s no full squad yet. The players are started to get along well and bond as a team.”

Pegasus is in Group B with Selangor XXIII, Sunrise Youngsters, Singapore Adroit, Johor Tigers, Speed Hunters and MBC.
