Paying respect to late key players in the football scene

The Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) yesterday held an online Tahlil ceremony to pay respect to the late figures, who contributed to the development of football in the Sultanate.

They include the late Haji Mohd Noor bin Abdullah who was the former General Secretary of the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) (2011-2014); Haji Zaini bin Abdul Saini who was the former National Team Physiotherapist; Dato Paduka Haji Md Yunos bin Haji Md Hussein who was the father of FABD’s Media and Communications Standing Committee member; Hajah Jamaliah binti Maidin who was the mother-in-law of DPMM FC’s Manager Ali Momin; and Haji Rabaie bin Haji Metali who was the father-in-law of FABD’s finance manager.

In addition to paying respect, a flash donation was also opened on the sidelines to help alleviate the burdens of the immediate family members of the deceased.

The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Yaasiin; and concluded with Doa to seek blessings led by FABD Executive Committee Member Haji Adee Suhardee bin Haji Muhidin.

Present during the ceremony was the FABD President Pengiran Haji Matusin bin Pengiran Haji Matasan, FABD Executive Committee members, FABD Standing Committee members, Associations under FABD and FABD Secretariat members.
