Passing down tradition

ON April 12, 2018, our school held a Chinese calligraphy competition that involved students from the Chinese secondary schools nation-wide.

This competition is held annually to pass down an important part of the Chinese culture, Chinese calligraphy, to the younger generations. Chinese Calligraphy has been around for 50 centuries.

This competition was grouped into three categories: the primary level, lower secondary and upper secondary level. The winning students were awarded with a certificate and a trophy.

Our student, Lee Ding Kang, won the first place, Yap Vei Hong won the second place and Chin Hui Ling received a consolation award.
