I RECENTLY became a parent for the first time.
I would like to thank the staff of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital for treating my wife and me well from early check-ups to the birth of my child and the week of rest at the hospital.
After the birth of my child, my wife and I opted for a private room, as we like our privacy.
I do not regret spending for the private room (as my wife’s comfort was top priority); however, I was slightly disappointed that parking expenses were not included in the overall payment.
I stayed at RIPAS Hospital for a week and on average, spent more than 16 hours per day, which equates to around BND16 per day.
In a week, I spent around BND112 just on parking.
This is a huge amount on top of other expenses.
Parking can be found easily at the parking area around the Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah or nearby the hospital. However, I preferred having my transport nearby.
Perhaps the hospital authorities can take my suggestion and see if its viable?
Maybe they can even have a private parking area for those paying for private rooms?
My wife and I would like to thank again RIPAS Hospital for the comfortable and kind treatment and service.
