Park rehabilitation project completed

The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) held a handover ceremony to mark the completion of the rehabilitation of Bukit Subok Forest Reserve Recreational Park under the RBAF Titian Amal charity programme yesterday.

Commander of the RBAF Major General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Nor bin Haji Jeludin and Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB) Managing Director Datin Hajah Hasnah binti Haji Ibrahim were present.

The rehabilitation project, which began on November 16, 2020, led by the Combat Engineer Squadron, Support Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) and the Assault Pioneer Platoon from the infantry battalions in collaboration with Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Perbadanan TAIB, was focussed on the reconstruction of two main huts and two wooden bridges, as well as repairs of pathways and handrails along the track.

The project was part of RBAF’s social effort in reaching out to the community and ensuring a safe recreational site for the public.
