The Ministry of Health (MoH) on Friday issued a recall on four batches of Paracetamol Suspension (50mg/ml) following a viral message circulating on social media regarding the Paracetamol Suspension medication that is being quarantined.
The four batches are RP1222009 with the expiration date December 11, 2023, RP1222010 with the expiration date of December 12, 2023, RP1222011 with the expiration date of December 12, 2023 and RP0123028 with the expiration date January 30, 2024.
According to the MoH, the recall from distribution was in line with the standard operating procedure (SOP) of the Department of Pharmaceutical Services following in depth monitoring that found the quality of the products may have been compromised.
