Panglima Barudin Limau Manis Primary School emerged champions of the Nationwide Primary Schools Badminton Festival competition 2023 at the Youth Centre in the capital yesterday.
Datu Ratna Haji Muhammad Jaafar Kiarong Primary School claimed the runner-up spot with Sengkurong Primary School and Cemerlang Abejess School sharing joint third place.
The festival, held for the first time, was participated by 30 primary schools. It aimed to unearth talent and develop the potential of primary school students.
It served as a platform to identify students with potential to represent the country in both the regional and international scene.
Acting Director of Co-Curriculum Education Julaihi bin Mohamad/Mohamat was the guest of honour.
The event was organised by the Ministry of Education through the Physical and Recreation Section, Department of Co-Curriculum Education.
