Pan Bright Travel’s (PBT) two-day Panamazing Travel Fair turned out to be a ‘panamazing’ affair with the flash sale on Malaysia Airlines ticket to Kuala Lumpur selling out in less than two hours.
“We were surprised that the flash sale for 50 pax that we offered from 6pm to 9pm on our first day was sold out way before it ended,” said Sales and Development Manager of PBT Nur Khadijah Abdullah.
She added that the flash sale also came with a 30kg baggage allowance as Malaysia Airlines now only gives 20kg for normal fare.
The fair, in conjunction with the Home & Lifestyle Event organised at the Atrium of Times Square Shopping Centre, offered attractive packages and promotions.
“Throughout the two-day event, we also collaborated with Tourism Malaysia with a BND20 rebate per person for flights to Kota Kinabalu and Kuala Lumpur. At the same time, we offered BND100 rebate per pax for our Korea group 2020 departures as well as BND100 Rebate for the Japan Eight-Day/Seven-Night Sakura Tour for our April 2020 departure,” said Nur Khadijah.
She added that they had a number of people signing up for the Japan Eight-Day/Seven-Night Sakura Tour in April 2020 and the Taiwan package for May 2020 departure, both on Royal Brunei Airlines. Baiduri Bank debit/credit card holders purchasing at the fair got a double chance for the travel agent’s ‘Travel & Win’ lucky draw and 25 daily rebates for Baiduri credit cards while Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) credit card holders got lucky dips for the first 150 with prizes including SCB merchandise, luggage, cash rebates, Royal Skies Miles and Kris Flyer Miles.
Travellers making purchases at the fair were also entitled to Pan Bright’s 6th edition of the ‘Travel & Win a Hyundai or Birkin’ lucky draw promotion, where in this year’s edition, Pan Bright offered two cars to the first and second prize winners.
The fair also saw PBT giving away 10 prizes for the daily draw including return air tickets to Manila for two, one return ticket to Manila, a tailor-made cabin luggage for Pan Bright, and a free hotel stay in Kota Kinabalu. There will also be special rates for travel insurance during the two-day event.
The exclusive tailor-made cabin luggage given as prizes were also a hit among travellers, where Nur Khadijah said they even had travellers purchasing the cabin baggage.
