Pakistan High Commission commemorates founder

The High Commission of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Brunei Darussalam celebrated the 144th birth anniversary of Pakistan Founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Brunei Darussalam, Homeira Rigi Zirouki attended as the guest of honour.

The event began with Pakistan’s national anthem followed by the recitation of Al-Quran verses. The High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Brunei Darussalam Major General (Rtd) Abdul Aziz Tariq read the messages of the President and the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan followed by the screening of documentaries on the life of Quaid-e-Azam and his struggle in the creation of Pakistan, Pakistan beautiful, industrial potential and Real Pakistan.

The event also saw the envoy read an essay on Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
