Painting competition to mark Indian independence, Gandhi’s birthday

To mark India@75 Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 2, the High Commission of India in Brunei Darussalam announced a painting competition on the theme ‘Gandhi-My Hero’.

The painting competition is open to all. The entries will be themed on the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi – truth and non-violence.

Details of the painting competition are available on the high commission’s social media pages. Prizes will be given to three winners in three categories – aged zero to 10, 10 to 15 and 15-25.

Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav was launched by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on March 12 from Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad in India.
