The Britain Brunei Business Forum (BBBF) presented BND3,168 of funds raised for Demensia Brunei (dB) at a ceremony at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital yesterday.
On hand to present the funds was BBBF Chair Pengiran Aki Ismasufian bin Pengiran Haji Ibrahim while receiving for dB was its president and geriatrics consultant at RIPAS Hospital Dr Teo Shyh Poh.
Pengiran Aki Ismasufian expressed hope that the funds would support dB in accomplishing its mission and goals, thereby making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by dementia.
He also emphasised the importance of collaboration and community engagement to raise awareness and provide essential resources for those affected by dementia, underscoring the BBBF’s commitment to supporting initiatives that positively impact the well-being of the people of the Sultanate.
Also in attendance were dB Vice President Irnawati binti Haji Mahir and dB Secretary Bazilah binti Ali as well as executive committee members of the BBBF. – Lyna Mohamad
