    Over 80 bleed for good cause

    IN PARTNERSHIP with the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital’s Blood Bank Unit, Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) hosted a blood drive at its main office at the city centre on Tuesday.

    The blood drive is part of the bank’s community engagement initiative to encourage participation from staff and to create awareness of the importance of donating blood.

    More than 80 employees participated in the blood donation, among them was SCB Chief CEO Pengiran Aki Ismasufian bin Pengiran Haji Ibrahim.

    “Standard Chartered Bank’s blood donation campaign has consistently been able to involve a significant number of our employees who come forward to donate blood and support a worthy cause,” Pengiran Aki Ismasufian said

    “There is a deep-rooted commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility at all levels and we are regularly involved in various programmes that support social causes. We would like to thank the staff from the Blood Bank Unit of RIPAS Hospital for their professionalism and support in providing the medical equipment, information and medical test which made the drive a great success,” he said.
