Institution of Surveyors, Engineers and Architects (PUJA) Brunei and PUJA Academy Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE) and Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB), organised a Continuous Professional Development (CPD/CPE) talk at the Ministry of Development yesterday.
Permanent Secretary (Economy) at the MoFE Dr Hajah May Fa’ezah binti Haji Ahmad Ariffin and Assistant Head of FAST from BEDB Ariffin bin Haji Sulaiman were the speakers at the talk, attended by over 70 officials.
Titled ‘Brunei Darussalam Economic Blueprint’, the talk served as a guide for public and private sector officials in drafting their policies and strategies towards achieving the third goal of Brunei Vision 2035.
The success of the blueprint will help the country move from a highly dependent oil and gas economy to a more diversified, dynamic and sustainable economy providing meaningful and high-value employment opportunities for the local workforce.
PUJA President Ir Haji Mohamad Zin bin Haji Salleh later presented certificates and tokens of appreciation to the speakers.
