Some 5,161 new students registered for religious school across the country on Saturday, comprising 2626 male and 2535 female students.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA), The Brunei-Muara District saw enrolment of 3,768 students; 705 in Belait District with 705, 597 in the Tutong District and 91 in the Temburong District.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman oversaw the registration of new students at Bengkurong Religious School and Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Malik Religious School on Saturday.
