Over 100 private sector companies will participate in the Recruitment Fair organised by the Manpower Planning and Employment Council (MPEC) Secretariat, Prime Minister’s Office.
The five-day event will be held at Hall 1 and 2 of BRIDEX International Conference Centre, Jerudong from November 23 to 27, from 9am to 5pm, except on Friday where it will be from 2.30pm to 5pm.
There will be more than 2,500 job openings available for local jobseekers at all levels to explore career opportunities including in the information technology, oil and gas, construction, retail, and food and beverage industries. These also include job opportunities for persons with different abilities to support inclusivity in the workforce.
Besides the private sector, over 30 government agencies will also participate including educational institutions such as Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Royal Brunei Police Force, Brunei Fire and Rescue Department, Lifelong Learning Centre, Youth Development Centre.
There will be activities for visitors of all ages including booth exhibitions; walk-in interviews; CV writing and interview tips clinics; series of talks and live demonstrations; andfun games.
Jobseekers are advised to bring along copies of their updated CVs and supporting documents as there will be opportunities to participate in walk-in interviews.
