Since the implementation of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Programme on April 3, the number of people being inoculated in Brunei Darussalam has reached 15,905.
The number of people receiving their second dose of vaccine has reached 862, while 15,043 have just received their first dose.
Brunei-Muara District has the highest number of vaccinated individuals (12,418), followed by Belait District (1,484), Tutong District (1,361) and Temburong District (642), according to the Ministry of Health (MoH).
The number who have completed their inoculation is 716 in Brunei-Muara District, 132 in Tutong District, 13 in Temburong District and one in Belait District.
Although it is not mandatory to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine, the MoH warned that citizens and residents of Brunei Darussalam are still exposed to the risk of COVID-19 infection.
Those wishing to participate in the National COVID-19 Vaccination Programme can reserve a slot through the BruHealth app or call the Health Advice Line at 148.
The public should ensure their BruHealth accounts have been verified, and to update their personal information (Identity Card number, phone and address) for Bru-HIMS at government clinics or hospitals if not already updated.
