A total of 1,096 active cases have been recorded in the country, said Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar during a press conference to update on the COVID-19 situation on Saturday. Among the active cases “three are in critical condition while two require ventilators and one requiring the help of an additional heart/lung machine (ECMO)”, the minister said, adding that four cases have recovered, bringing the total recovered cases to 355.
