In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan, Brunei International Air Cargo Centre (BIACC) Sdn Bhd held their 10th annual Khatam Al-Quran ceremony and donation distribution to orphans at the Air Cargo Terminal, Brunei International Airport recently.
BIACC Sdn Bhd General Manager Haji Ariffin bin Haji Emran distributed donations to 70 orphans via drive-through.
Prior to the distribution of donations, a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony was held virtually for its employees.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the opening prayer, followed by the recitation of Doa Khatam Al-Quran, Dikir Marhaban and concluded with the closing prayers.
The event aimed to enliven the month of Ramadhan with gratitude, generosity and remembrance of Islamic responsibilities.
In addition, BIACC corporate social responsibility programmes aim to serve the community and create an atmosphere of harmony towards strengthening bonds with the community.
