A monthong durian belonging to Jefri Wee bin Abdullah has gained recognition and an award from the Brunei Book of Records.
The 6.4-kilogramme durian was produced from his 30-year-old monthong durian tree at his home in Kampong Sungai Akar.
Jefri, who is a full-time farmer and active in entrepreneurship activities through agriculture, was presented with the recognition and award during a ceremony at the Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Sungai Akar.
Presenting the award was Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong.
