Tears of joy ran down Amal Nabihah Ahmad’s face when she won a brand new KIA Seltos GTLX as the grand prize winner of the Jollibee Brunei 35th anniversary celebration grand draw at The Mall, Gadong yesterday.
Amal Nabihah Ahmad submitted one entry for the lucky draw campaign last month.
The temporary staff member at the Ministry of Health said, “I didn’t expect to win a brand new Seltos. I only put in one entry so I was surprised to find my name being announced as one of the 16 winners.
“At first, I thought I was the winner for the free bucket of fried chicken and then I realised I was one of the finalists.”
She added, “My four-year-old daughter loves Jollibee. We go to Jollibee often because she loves the gravy.”
Five finalists – Haji Ermin bin Haji Ali, Nurul Aqilah binti Abdul Ghani, Lam Lee Kun, Lai Sze Bui and Muhammad Humaidi bin Abdul Halidi – went home with BND1,000 RB Travel vouchers.
The 10 finalists who received Apple Watch Series 7 were Rosnah binti Daud, Siti Nabilah binti Johari, Sarinah Haji Bagol, Muhamad Syafiq Izzat bin Haji Zofrino Faizal, Rita Mabel Keasberry, Linda Tjandra, Sherley Pesidas Rido, Noradilawati binti Haji Sidi, Manisah binti Masri and Noralizah binti Haji Sulaiman.
Entrek (B) Sdn Bhd Jollibee Brunei Director Abdul Razak bin Mohammad Hassan, and his spouse Norazimah binti Haji Raub and son Abdul Hakeem bin Abdul Razak were the guests of honour.
Also present were Country Business Head of Jollibee Christina Ward and Jollibee Brunei staff.
Any customer who purchased at least a chickenjoy product would be entitled to enter Jollibee Brunei’s 35th anniversary lucky draw from August 29 to December 10. The pre-draw for the finalists took place on December 13.
