A MALAYSIAN boat passenger was killed in a boat collision on Wednesday, near Pulau Selirong in Muara, while another is still missing.
The remaining eight passengers are currently recovering at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital.
The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) yesterday confirmed that it had received a distress call at 12.24am, regarding a Malaysian boat that had capsized in Brunei waters after colliding with another oncoming vessel.
A search-and-rescue operation for the missing passenger is being conducted by various agencies such as the Marine Police, the Fire and Rescue Department and the Royal Brunei Navy.
