One COVID case remains at NIC

Only one active COVID-19 case remains at the National Isolation Centre (NIC) in the Tutong District, following the full recovery and discharge of a patient yesterday.

The Sultanate also marked its fourth day of no new cases yesterday, keeping the total number of cases at 185. No local transmissions have been recorded for 291 days.

According to the Ministry of Health (MoH), 603 samples have been taken for SARS-CoV-2 virus testing in the last 24 hours, with 98,624 tests carried out since January 2020.

A total of 727 individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after arriving from abroad while 13,265 individuals have completed their stint since March 2020.
