Brunei Darussalam recorded six COVID-19 cases under Category 4 requiring respiratory assistance and close monitoring while one case in Category 5 is requiring treatment at the intensive care unit. No COVID-19 fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours, said the Ministry of Health in its daily report.
A total of 386 COVID-19 cases have fully recovered yesterday bringing the national tally of COVID-19 recoveries to 234,019. The overall population that has received four doses of COVID-19 vaccine is at 10.8 per cent while the coverage rate of Brunei population with three shots also remained at 78.6 per cent.
The vaccination rate for children aged five to 11 with two doses of COVID-19 vaccine are at 86.2 per cent, while 61.7 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.
