One COVID-19 patient passed away yesterday.
There is one case in Category 5 receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU) and two patients in Category 4 requiring respiratory assistance and under close monitoring.
These were shared by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in its daily report yesterday.
Some 143 cases were declared recovered yesterday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 220,419.
Meanwhile, 83.6 per cent of children aged five to 11 were administered at least two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine while 58.7 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 received three shots.
The coverage rate of Brunei population with three shots of the vaccine is 77.5 per cent, while 9.7 per cent of the populace have received the fourth dose.
