Nuzul Al-Quran celebration on April 7

National Level Nuzul Al-Quran celebration for 1444 Hijrah will be held at the Plenary Hall of the International Convention Centre in Berakas on April 7.

Among the highlights are the announcement of results of National Level Al-Quran Memorisation and Its Understanding competition as well as the announcement results for Al-Quran Memorisation and Its Understanding among Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore (MABIMS) member countries.

The best reader in each category will present their Al-Quran reading.

This year’s celebration, themed ‘Patient, Strive, Put Trust and Pray to Face the Test with the Guidance of Al-Quran’, is co-organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Ministry of Finance and Economy and Centre for Al-Quran Studies and Propagation Centre.

Guests, committee members, performance participants and those attending the ceremony are advised to screen for COVID-19 and upload the results to the BruHealth app on the day of the event. They must show a negative antigen rapid test (ART) result through BruHealth to the receptionist or committee member on duty.

Those with symptoms, such as high fever, cough, cold and breathing problems, are advised to skip the ceremony.
