One hundred and fifty volunteers from the port community recently held a cleaning campaign at the Muslim cemetery near Muara Port, organised by Muara Port Company Sdn Bhd (MPC) in collaboration with the Mukim Serasa Consultative Council (MPM Serasa) and Setia Ali Mosque Takmir Committee.
Acting Village Head of Kampong Masjid Lama, Pekan Muara, Sabun, and Pelumpong Pengiran Haji Mohamed bin Pengiran Haji Osman @ Othman was the guest of honour. MPC Chief Executive Officer Zeng Caili said, “MPC is proud to have organised this cleaning campaign in collaboration with the MPM Serasa and Setia Ali Mosque Takmir Committee in line with our corporate social responsibility and core values.”
The campaign aimed to nurture volunteerism and foster the spirit of shared responsibilities among the port community and the people from the surrounding villages.
