Prosecutors on Wednesday entered a ‘nolle prosequi’ in a murder case against a local couple linked to the death of an Indonesian woman in Kuala Belait.
Senior Magistrate Azrimah Abdul Rahman discharged Hassan bin Yussof and Rosnani binti Tanga following Deputy Public Proscutor Rozaimah Abdul Rahman’s application, carrying a nature of discharge not amounting to acquittal. The court also discharged the defendants’ bail bonds following the application by defence counsels Roy Prabhakaran and Kamal Shaari of Messrs Yusof Halim and Partners who sought for it.
