No new COVID cases recorded

No new COVID-19 cases reported yesterday, according to the Ministry of Health’s (MoH) daily updates on the virus in the country.

The national tally of confirmed cases remain at 199. Meanwhile, there have been no reports of local transmissions for 313 days.

Eleven active cases are receiving treatment in the National Isolation Centre in Tutong district with no new recoveries reported yesterday.

Meanwhile, 733 individuals, mostly international arrivals, are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at the monitoring centres provided by the Government.

A total of 14,734 individuals have completed their mandatory self-isolation at the monitoring centres. In the past 24 hours, 143 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus, bringing the total number of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020
to 110,319 tests. revealed that there have been 164 cases in the Brunei-Muara district, 29 in the Belait district and six in the Tutong district.
