No new COVID-19 cases found

Brunei Darussalam yesterday entered its eighth day of zero COVID-19 transmissions, keeping the country’s total number of confirmed cases at 185.

There is only one active COVID-19 case receiving treatment at the National Isolation Centre, the Ministry of Health (MoH) said in a statement yesterday.

Brunei Darussalam has not recorded any local transmissions for 295 days.

The MoH has taken 447 samples for the SARS-CoV-2 virus testing over the past 24 hours, and conducted 99,926 tests since January 2020.

A total of 861 individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after arriving from abroad, while 13,443 individuals have completed their stint since March 2020.

Healthinfo.gov.bn revealed that there have been 150 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 29 in the Belait District and six in the Tutong District.
