No new COVID-19 cases detected

Brunei Darussalam recorded no new COVID-19 cases yesterday keeping the national tally of confirmed cases at 203 with 14 active cases receiving treatment at the National Isolation Centre.

The Sultanate recorded no local transmissions of the virus for 316 days, the Ministry of Health (MoH) said in its daily statement yesterday.

Eight hundred and ten individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after arriving from abroad while 14,902 individuals have completed their stint since March 2020.

In the past 24 hours, the MoH took 212 samples for testing for the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the past 24 hours and carried out 110,970 tests since January 2020. revealed that there have been 168 cases in Brunei-Muara District, 29 in Belait District and six in Tutong District.
